Learn Gujarati — ગુજરાતી શીખો
Last updated: 21 August 2026 · Effective: 21 August 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Learn Gujarati mobile application (the “App”), published by Codigic Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading, installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is made for young children, and is intended to be installed and set up by a parent, guardian or teacher. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
If you are a parent or guardian, you accept these Terms on behalf of the child who uses the App, and you are responsible for supervising that use.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for personal, family, educational or classroom use. This licence is free of charge.
You agree not to:
The App, including its source code, design, illustrations, letterform and stroke data, recorded pronunciations, and the name “Learn Gujarati”, is owned by Codigic Solutions and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a licence to use the App; they do not transfer ownership of anything.
The Gujarati script itself is, of course, the shared heritage of the people who write it, and we claim no rights over the language or its characters.
The App is free. It contains no advertising, no in-app purchases and no subscriptions. It will never ask a child to spend money, because it has no payment mechanism of any kind.
If we ever introduce a paid feature in a future version, it will be clearly described before purchase and will require an adult to complete it through the app store's own payment system.
The App collects no personal information. Learning progress is stored only on your own device. Please see our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
We have taken care to present Gujarati characters, their stroke order and their pronunciation accurately, and stroke directions have been reviewed against the way the script is taught by hand. Even so, teaching traditions vary between regions, schools and families, and the App is a practice aid rather than a substitute for a teacher. We do not warrant that every character, order or pronunciation will match the convention you were taught.
If you spot something you believe is wrong, please tell us — corrections from native writers and teachers are genuinely welcome.
We may update the App to fix problems, add characters or add features. We may also stop distributing or supporting the App at any time. Because the App works offline and stores nothing on our servers, an App you have already installed will keep working on your device.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Codigic Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or connected with your use of the App. As the App is provided free of charge, our total aggregate liability to you in connection with the App will not exceed INR 1,000.
This limitation does not apply to liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.
The App is distributed through Google Play and the Apple App Store, and your use is also subject to those stores' own terms. Those stores are not parties to these Terms and have no responsibility for the App. Apple Inc. is not a party to these Terms, has no obligation to provide support for the App, and is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you.
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If you continue using the App after a change takes effect, you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Gujarat, India. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in your own country's courts under its mandatory local law.
