Learn Gujarati — ગુજરાતી શીખો

Last updated: 21 August 2026 · Effective: 21 August 2026

This policy explains how the Learn Gujarati mobile application (the “App”) handles information. The App is published by Codigic Solutions (“we”, “us”), and is designed for young children learning to write Gujarati.

1. Information we collect

We collect none. Specifically, the App does not collect, request or transmit:

The App has no registration, no sign-in and no user profile. It never asks a child or a parent to type in personal information, because there is nowhere in the App to enter any.

2. Information stored on your device

So that a child can continue where they left off, the App saves a small amount of learning progress in its own private storage on the device:

This is a short list of characters and numbers. It contains nothing personal, it never leaves the device, and we cannot see it. It is not backed up to any server we operate.

You can erase it at any time by uninstalling the App, or by clearing the App's storage in your device settings.

3. No internet transmission

The App works fully offline. All artwork, letterforms and pronunciation audio are bundled inside the App itself when you install it. The App makes no network requests in normal use and sends no data to us or to anyone else.

Android requires the App to declare a standard internet capability as part of the framework it is built on. This capability is not used to send or receive your information.

4. Device permissions

The App uses only what it needs to teach writing:

The App does not request access to the camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, calendar or files.

5. Children's privacy

The App is intended for children and is designed to be safe for them by containing nothing that could put them at risk.

Because no personal data is collected, no verifiable parental consent is required for its collection. This approach is intended to be consistent with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the Google Play Families Policy, the Apple App Store Kids Category requirements, Article 8 of the UK/EU GDPR, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India).

6. Third parties

The App contains no third-party advertising networks, analytics providers, social media SDKs, attribution tools or tracking libraries. We share no information with third parties, because we hold none.

The App is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store. Those stores independently collect information about downloads and purchases under their own privacy policies, which we do not control and cannot access at an individual level.

7. Your rights

Data-protection laws give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data an organisation holds about you. We hold no personal data about you or your child, so there is nothing for us to retrieve, amend or erase. The on-device progress described in section 2 is entirely under your control and is removed when the App is uninstalled.

8. Data retention

We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. On-device progress persists only until you delete the App or clear its storage.

9. Changes to this policy

If the App ever changes in a way that affects this policy — for example if a future version adds an optional online feature — we will update this page and change the “Last updated” date above before that version is released. Material changes will be described here rather than made silently.
